Welcome to our interview series dedicated to the perspectives of OCTÉ Lift professionals. Today, we are pleased to introduce Sami BROUK, who shares his experience in the elevator industry and his role at OCTÉ Lift

CAN YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF ?
My name is Sami BROUK, and I am currently discovering the elevator industry. Indeed, I completed a DUT in Electrical Engineering and Industrial Computing, followed by an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT WHAT YOUR JOB INVOLVES ?
My responsibilities within the sales team are those of an ‘Export Business Developer,’ which is similar to that of a sales engineer.
I manage our client portfolio concerning exports and Europe (including Scandinavia), and I am responsible for developing export activities while maintaining and nurturing our client relationships.
Finally, in the scope of my duties, I assist in decision-making and provide technical support to our clients by recommending the most suitable solutions for their needs.
What I enjoy most about my job is introducing our company to new influencers outside of the French market.
Additionally, I appreciate discovering new technological products and the social aspect, which offers a completely different approach to business while remaining challenging
CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT WHAT YOUR JOB INVOLVES ?
As for the atmosphere at OCTÉ, I work with a close-knit and responsive team. Moreover, the company values teamwork. For example, I remember a project like BLOCKMOD, which required the involvement of several OCTÉ departments: the electrical engineering design office and the sales department.
